Jwrobel values a strong sense of community.

We are involved with a number of non-profit organizations ranging from low-income elder support to animal rescue and rehabilitation.

An extra bouquet of flowers brightens a stark corner of a local nursing home.

A partnership program raises funds for a charity over the holidays.

A little help in the trenches supports an animal rescue program.

We know that there are so many that need a helping hand from time to time. We love to pitch in.

Here are some of the organizations that we support in various ways. We encourage you to check them out and consider offering your support as well.

Going Green!

At Jwrobel, LLC, we are constantly examining our options to make our business greener, a better neighbor, and an asset to our community and planet. We've been fortunate that there has been a sea change in the farming industry.   A small but growing group of our vendors are growing their flowers in an ever improving ecofriendly manner, and we are able to either find or source out small specialty lots of local and/or organically grown flowers, greens, and herbs to supplement and compliment the beautiful variety  of cut flowers that come to us from around the world.

In 2006 Jwrobel, LLC started a recycling and composting program that reduced the trash we produced by 90%.  A year later, we were producing so little trash that not only did we no longer have any need for our dumpster, we never even remembered(or if we did we didn't even bother) to take it out to the curb on trash day.   The bonus was a superbly robust cutting and vegetable garden nurtured by the compost created by what was once considered a waste product taking up space in landfills.  Likewise, we continue to reassess our own packaging and will be introducing biodegradable cello bags for beautiful protection of our boutonnieres and corsages.

The cargo van is an essential part of this business.  It is what we and our clients depend on to get their beautiful flowers to their special event on time. There is no way around it--yet.  In the meantime, we are proud to have been able to include a hybrid SUV as an auxiliary vehicle in December of 2007.  We are delighted that this will ease some of the strain and need for traditional gas powered vehicles for some of our deliveries and almost all of our errand running.

Is there more to be done?  Absolutely!  We have quite the list.  Every day we work to get one more item crossed off to get closer to our end goal of an environmentally friendly, sustainably grown, fair trade, and beautiful product  to you for your special day.  Moving forward, we will continue to include new resources and implement better practices to become an ever-better earth friendly design studio and company.

All the best-

Jess Wrobel
