Organic Aran Heirloom BuntingThe inspiration for this new design came from the cables of my first brood pouch, the Heirloom Cabled Bunting. I wanted to use the cables in a different way on the pouch itself, much like an aran sweater. This soft cocoon is knit with 100% organic and fair trade cotton. The colors are a naturally occurring pale coffee and a creamy off-white. The yarn is a chunky thick/thin spin, creating a lovely visual texture. The collar is a wide and supple double sided waffle pattern that is broad enough to serve as a hood. This bunting is sized for newborn-3 mos, but all infants are unique and you may find that yours can snuggle in this until about 6 mos of age. Approximate measurements are 21" long by 10 1/2" wide(21" circumference). Prior to knitting, I machine wash and dry the yarn to preshrink the fibers. With proper care, there should be little more, if any, additional shrinkage, and it should serve you well as treasured family piece. Recommended Care: Machine wash, gentle cycle in cold water. Machine dry. These are knit to order. Please allow two weeks for creation prior to delivery. Everything will be beautifully packaged. These are organic, fair trade, environmentally friendly, and vegan.
