Little Pig Hooked PillowWhether you are planning the nursery for the baby on its way or making over that nursery with the new "big kid" bed, this friendly plump pig is sure to brighten your favorite rocker or reading chair.I made this pillow entirely by hand. First, I drew my design on linen and hooked the pattern using a combination of recycled wool and fair trade merino, silk, alpaca and organic cotton yarns. To get the beautiful striped cotton backing on just right, it too was hand-sewn into place. As a finishing touch, I made the tassels out of coordinating yarns. And I must say, I could not be more pleased with the end result. This pig is a sweet charmer ready to peacefully oversee the goings on of a perfect little space. Measures: 12" x 16"
