Oh, Madeline!Where does your story begin? At the country flea market where I found the vintage striped ribbon? Perhaps in the shoebox of vintage trims that came from grandmother? No. I think I know. It was sorting through the boxes and bins of buttons and buttons and buttons I've inherited from grandmother, mother, and mother in-law. It was there that I found one vintage glass eye that had long been separated from its fuzzy friend. That was the inspiration piece that pulled this whole thing together. Measurements: Approx 8" wide at the top, 12" wide at the bottom, 5.5" tall. Materials: Vintage ribbon, trims, and eyeball. Silk dupioni lining. The camellia is made from a gorgeous buttercream satin ribbon. Sold
