Garden Rose Satin BroochI owned a floral design studio for many years. I really know what I want in a flower. And I was able to achieve that here in this beautiful satin garden rose. If it were real, it would be the most perfect Dutch Sahara rose. The petals are a shade that flirts between pale butterscotch and muted caramel. Maybe it's the palest cup of creamy coffee. Lush and romantic, it is perfect for every day or your wedding day. For you: Pin it to your shoulder or your bag, string on your favorite chain and wear it as a pendant, pin to ribbon or headband for your hair. For you home: Pin it to a pillow, lampshade, or curtain for an instant romantic, shabby chic makeover. For your wedding: Gift to all your bridesmaids, pin to the ring pillow, wear in your hair, or even for your flower girl. Makes a beautiful corsage or the perfect touch to the sash on your dress. Custom quantities and colors are happily available. This rose is made from approximately 23 satin petals that I sculpt with a bit of heat from a candle flame. From there, I hand sew each petal into the perfect shape and form for the bloom. The leaves are sewn from a golden green dupioni silk. These are also hand sewn onto the flower for the perfect effect. Measures approx 4/4.5" across. More pictures are available upon request. This piece is made to order, and like all flowers in nature, each will vary slightly from the next.
