This is just a tiny piece, Peck for Grace. Something of a sampler, trying something new. I was inspired by the work of Janet Bolton, whose book I had picked up at a thrift shop or flea market. This was back when leaving the house was fun and the shops were still open.
I think this year, more so than most, we are all looking for a little Grace. In ourselves, in our community, our country, our world. Here there is a little of the Grace I sought with each stitch, in a little piece of handwork.
Made of recycled denim, antique quilting cottons, and vintage wool.
Measures just 6.5″ by 7.5″.
