I’ve been turning to the motifs of Rufus Porter, a muralist, for inspiration lately. An itinerant Maine artist, he travelled New England to make his living. Comfortably settled, and decidedly not the wandering type, I’ve been rather enjoying doodling and hooking his motifs from the comfort of my sunny studio.
Hooked with an assortment of vintage wools and recycled cashmere. Backed with antique European homespun.
Measures 14.5″ x 11″.
