This rag rug is something of a first for me. It is woven using the peg loom which was beautifully built for me by my husband. It was a fun technique to play with, and you can read more about that here.
This woven with strips of fabric torn from recycled cotton saris on a cotton warp. This type of weaving creates a looser weave than traditional weaving, but still has good loft and softness underfoot.
Measures about 24″ x 33″.
